This Morning

Asian markets up this morning, European markets mixed and US markets look to open flat.
Unless buying momentum takes out the 1330 level on the ES, I will prefer short entries this morning...

Levels to watch (ES):
Resistance above at: 1329-1331, 1334
Support below at: 1320-1322, 1315-1316, 1308-1310

    Morning Verde - Not seeing much to trade so far today - A low vol, tight range doji on the daily may be forming... We'll see...

    Morning Vis

    I'm moving away from posting scalp-type trades as I can't guarantee that I can update my entries in a timely manner on the blog. I am looking into adding back-end programming to interact with my trading account so that all my trades are updated in real time on the web. But this is at least a year away from going live.

    I am considering a short trade here at the 1328-1330 price point with a target down in the lower 1320s.

    Lets see if ES can break-out above 1330-1331 or not. If it is rejected, I will look to enter short...

    Added 2 cons at 1329.75 - now holding 3 cons with cost basis of 1329.50...

    That's too bad that you aren't going to post scalp trades anymore Verde... Thought I had an ES trading friend...;-) The true ES traders that aren't posers or wannabees are hard to come by...

    I don't know that a solid trading opportunity will present itself before the end of the session. If you like trading with the algorithms, you can certainly try that for 2 ticks here or 2 ticks there... Not my game though, especially not in the last hour of trading...

    Small break-out to the upside does seem like the best possibility right now... I can't find a solid edge at the moment, and I prefer to stay away when that is the case...
