Negative News Still Does Not Have Much Influence on the Markets

Increases in Initial Jobless Claims and Continuing Claims were reported this morning as well as negative consumer confidence readings. The markets saw a brief sell, but have recovered now. We'll see if this news holds any weight when the regular session opens.
